Scott Kaufman, Legislative Director of the HOWARD JARVIS TAXPAYERS ASSOCIATION will be available to discuss HJTA’s opposition to ACA 1, a proposed constitutional amendment that would make it easier to raise taxes on hard-working California families by lowering the vote needed to pass infrastructure bonds and parcel taxes from the current two-thirds to only 55 percent. ACA 1 will have a hearing in the Assembly Local Government on Wednesday, March 27, at 1:30 p.m. (A press conference by the measure’s author has been scheduled Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the State Capitol, Room 317.)
Please contact Scott Kaufman directly at Scott@hjta.org.
