OPINION: Victor Davis Hanson: California’s woes are America’s woes

A lack of proper planning and contradictory goals have produced major problems in California and mirror issues experienced on a nationwide basis, writes Victor Davis Hanson in the San Jose Mercury News.  Among these issues are a failure to build the infrastructure needed to provide water and transportation to a growing population while also encouraging large scale immigration.  Like California policymakers, NASA has also set unrealistic objectives considering its lack of funds, Hanson points out.
