OPINION: Unions only care about privacy when it benefits them

Pending union-backed legislation giving them access to prospective members information exposes union hypocrisy on privacy, writes Sam Han in the Orange County Register. While unions advocate their own access to databases with workers’ contact information, they have simultaneously filed lawsuits to block others from accessing the same kind of information for purposes of informing workers of their right to opt out of union fees and dues.
