OPINION: Parents Fight Union to Reform Failing Schools in Anaheim

Anaheim parents in a mostly Latino elementary school have come into conflict with the local school board president, a close teacher’s union ally, for urging a parent trigger law be used to improve their children’s failing school.  While the official is now out of office, Gloria Romero of the California Center for Parent Empowerment writes in UnionWatch that he should be rejected if he seeks an appointment to a vacant seat.
