OPINION: Legislature’s scary precedent: Giving unions private workers’ cell numbers, home addresses
The private home care industry in California is about to be opened up to unions. California Policy Center reports that state legislators are trying to pass a bill that would require private-sector workers to give personal information to any union that asks for it. Critics say this sets a dangerous precedent for other industries as they, too, in the future could be open to having their workers be forced to give personal information to unions.
