OPINION: For aging California, is the future Florida?

By 2030, more than 20 percent of California’s residents will over the age of 65, a higher percentage than how many currently live in Florida. With the quickly growing number of seniors in California, and their average individual income of about $25,000 per year, the state faces a variety of problems it will need to overcome in the next couple decades.
