OPINION: Environmental perfectionists taking green from the poor

California’s greenhouse gas reduction program is impacting the poor and the middle class the hardest with lost jobs and higher gas prices, writes Dennis Wyatt in the Ceres Courier.  While proponents of extreme oil taxes have promised their policies would benefit the economy, people in the Central Valley continue to suffer high unemployment while Tesla subsidies and a costly high speed train offer little benefit.
