OPINION: California’s coming $20 billion healthcare emergency

California went all in on affordable healthcare and as a result receives $20 billion in federal aid. If Obamacare is repealed, California politicians will look elsewhere to make up the shortfall. One way could be to raise the state income tax, but to offset the $20 billion lost in federal aid it would take a 25% income tax increase on Californians.
