Data recently revealed by Transparent California illustrates the excesses of government employee pay, including two retiring Riverside County employees receiving $743,000 in unused leave and over 640 Los Angeles County Fire Department employees earning over $100,000 in overtime. Transparent California’s employee pay database goes back to 2011 and is searchable online, reports the Riverside Press Enterprise.
