Although strong stock market performance usually results in higher California tax receipts, this year such a tax bonanaza has not materialized, reports Southern California Public Radio. The S&P 500 is up 18 percent this year, however some analysts believe investors may be deferring their tax payments in hopes of a tax cut at the Federal level.
