When people prepare their taxes this year, some people who had signed up for Obamacare may find themselves required to pay thousands of dollars in unexpected additional taxes, reports CNN Money. Obamacare subsidies were based on people’s estimated incomes, and averaged $264 a month. For taxpayers whose circumstances changed, they may find themselves having to repay their subsidy up to $2500.
