NEWS: L.A. plans to undo 2012 pension cuts in new union pay deal

Los Angeles has reached a new agreement with city employees that will roll back reductions in pension benefits implemented in 2012, reports the Los Angeles Times.  The new agreement is being hailed by public employee union representatives as a major victory, but critics say it’s irresponsible for officials to make a deal before they have determined the costs.
