NEWS: Former CalPERS CEO Buenrostro plans to plead guilty in pension corruption case

Fred Buenrostro who formerly served as chief executive of CalPERS a state retirement fund is planning to plead guilty to corruption charges his lawyer says. The Sacramento Bee reports Buenrostro is accused of accepting bribes forging letters and engaging in conspiracy in association with $3 billion in investments with Apollo Global Management a major Wall Street firm.
