NEWS: California Voted to Raise Taxes on Corporations to Create ‘Green Jobs.’ Here’s How That’s Working Out Three Years Later

In 2012, Californians passed new taxes to benefit green energy, and while proponents promised 11,000 new “green jobs” would be created every year, the Associated Press reports the measure has fallen far short, creating only 1700 jobs over a three year period.  Furthermore, while the so-called “Clean Energy Jobs Act” promised an accountability board, this body has never held a meeting.
