On Wednesday, Nov. 1 came a much-dreaded gas tax increase, which immediately inflated gasoline prices by 12 cents per gallon and diesel fuel prices by 20 cents per gallon. Naturally, that wasn’t enough; it also introduced a whole host of additional fees, that will in total add up to $150 billion. These fees will include an increase in annual vehicle fees both Gas and electric cars. in 2014 California, ranked by USA Today as the sixth most expensive state to live in in 2014, and has not only lived up to that status but seems to want climb higher on that list.
