EDITORIAL: The thrills and chills of a Democratic supermajority

Democrats now have their strongest legislative supermajority since 1883 in addition to controlling every statewide office, writes the Riverside Press Enterprise. This state of affairs could give Democrats an opportunity to address pressing challenges like overregulation and spiraling pension debt, but it also raises the concern Democrats will use this power to eliminate taxpayer protections and increase taxes.
