Difficulties acquiring land and lawsuits are delaying construction of California’s high speed train, which is already behind schedule, reports Fox News. Authorities had expected land acquisitions to be more challenging in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas, but Central Valley farmers have also proven resistant.
