A recent study conducted by the online auto repair service YourMechanic.com found that motorists in California suffer from the highest car expenses in the nation. The study considered factors such as gas prices, insurance premiums, repair costs, mileage, and vehicle property taxes. While California was only ranked first in one category, gas prices, the Golden State ranked highly in all the factors considered in the study.
