OPINION: San Francisco: City government by and for unions?

While San Francisco’s Retail Workers Bill of Rights was hailed as a historic victory for employees when it was approved in 2014, newly released emails have raised questions about influence-trading by unions, writes Michael Saltsman in the San Francisco Examiner.  The emails indicate the legislation was written by unions, who coordinated with politicians and rallied supporters to turn the proposal into a law.
