OPINION: Are Public Sector Workers Bankrupting California?

California’s labor unions fund pro-union lawmakers in a relationship that provides California’s public employees with exorbitant pensions. Critics like Stewart Lawrence, at The National Monitor, lament the $2.3 billion spent by CalPERS in pensions last year. In fact, employees earning over $100,000 a year in pensions has risen by 63% since 2012.
