NEWS: Labor Giant Puts Politics, Pay Over Serving Teachers

Federal labor filings have revealed the National Education Association (NEA), the nation’s largest teacher’s union, spends three times as much on politics, overhead and administration as on activities such as representing its members in collective bargaining, reports the Washington Free Beacon. Some California teachers feel the union has failed in its duty to represent them and are suing to opt out of their union dues.
