NEWS: ‘Cuts are coming,’ Jerry Brown says as he releases revised budget plan

Amid new uncertainty over California’s economy, Governor Jerry Brown released a new budget plan and warned of cutbacks, reports the Sacramento Bee. The Governor’s revised proposal was mostly unchanged from the plan he announced in January, but did contain an additional $400 million in healthcare spending and another $50 million for University of California, which is currently embattled over findings that revealed hidden money and extravagant spending.
