ARTICLE: Out-of-State Parolees Cost CA Millions

This article in the Lodi News – Sentinel describes how parole transfers from out of state are adding a large unseen expense to California’s budget. Particularly when these parolees turn out to be repeat offenders, costing the state millions in investigation and prison fees. This is a problem that cannot be ignored.
