(PR) HJTA President Jon Coupal Receives Award for Excellence in Journalism

Orange County --- Last night in front of a standing room-only audience, Jon Coupal – President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association – was honored with the “The William Rusher Award for Excellence in Journalism.”

Coupal was honored as a leading voice for fiscal conservatism in California politics and the state budget. His advocacy is delivered each week through numerous Opinion Editorial pieces and weekly columns which are published throughout the state. His work regularly appears in the FlashReport on California Politics, as well as in major daily newspapers.

Coupal was presented the award at the monthly meeting of the Republican Party of Orange County which was held at the Irvine Hyatt.
