Our report card is designed to help Californians gauge how their state representatives are actually performing on taxpayer-related issues.

The 2012 scores stem from 20 bills.

AB 1492, AB 1500, and SB 1455 were three major tax increases in the 2012 legislative year. A vote for any of these resulted in an automatic 15 point reduction.

Only the final Floor votes for AB 2451 have been included, as HJTA had not taken a position on prior versions of the bill.

Only the final floor votes are included with SB 1455, due to it being a gut-and-amend proposal.

*State Senator Sharon Runner did not receive a grade due to personal health reasons.
